Dear Neal,
Thank you for your kind words. In 2024, we have shifted from two issues a year to three, so that (a) composers don't have to wait so long to see their work published (b) we can publish more problems (without sacrificing quality). Three issues a year seems about right.
The key point is that we three editors (James, Anirudh & myself) are committed to publishing Issue 8 before the end of 2024, so that those who wish to submit problems to WCCI & FIDE Album can do so. We are on track for this deadline, so please continue to submit originals for publication.

This is our biggest ever issue (96 originals, 12 articles, gallery, 19 new composers, 4 new countries) even though there was the shortest lead time for any issue. Thanks to all for your support! Enjoy!
If you are a composer with material in this Issue, please do check carefully to make sure there are no errors or things you would rather have differently. If you find anything, then please let us know and we will fix it immediately.
A couple more items (e.g. Judge reports for Tourney 1 retro ortho & retro fairy) will be added in the next day.

Happy New Year and Best wishes to all Mat Plus forum members and The Hopper editorial team.
Two years ago in issue n.3 The Hopper magazine Rauf Aliovsadzade published article: Double Threat with Sequence Reversal (in threemovers genre).
Several examples from article inspired me to construct next fine threemover:
