A bit less than 4 weeks has remained! | | (3) Posted by Marjan Kovačević [Tuesday, Jun 4, 2024 14:28] | The last week for composing has remained!
Entries are coming, for now from the same countries as before
but with some new names and with a higher average quality than usually.
Don't miss the chance to join the party! | | (4) Posted by Marjan Kovačević [Monday, Jun 10, 2024 16:35] | It's the last day and many entries are still coming.
Until a week ago the situation wasn't very optimistic,
but with the last-minute originals it all became much brighter.
By now we have got entries from 13 countries:
Austria, Canada, France, India, Israel, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine and USA.
These are more or less regularly participating countries, with Austria being a pleasant surprise this year.
It's regretful to see some countries being absent since the YCCC-1.
Out of the active chess composition schools, the absence of students of the late Vladimir Kozhakin (1957-2024) is sadly visible.
On a positive side, the pupils of Leonid Yarosh, Bogusz Piliczewski and Vlaicu Crisan became more active, and the group of
already serious composers, mentored by Andrey Selivanov, continued growing! | | No more posts |
