Truly incredible both the aptly named tournament and the incredible achievements that have been achieved here.I cite as an example the SBR promotions, which I believed could not be realized in 17 moves.
I want to publicly say here that in addition to rejoicing in my personal success, I was most pleased with the incredible achievements of Olaf Jenkner (of course within the incomparable triple aces), as a sign of gratitude for his Gustav, which is unparalleled, and which allows the rest of us to create significant achievements. It seems natural to me that he takes that name as a pseudonym, or that we start addressing him as Gustav!
I also want to express my gratitude to the administrator of the Mat plus website Borislav Gadjanski for the titanic work he did on a massive tournament in a really short period of time.

The SBR promotion was indeed the hardest, it was the last problem we did in 17 moves, on January 9th.
It was a terrible construction with white queen and rook and 22 pieces and completely different to the winner setting.

(= 7+15 )

We know that a team of three persons is much more powerful than three persons on their own.
I expected in the award some problems saving pieces we did not find. But there was only one (BQR).
Apparently nobody found the trick we used in QRB or more sophisticated in QSQ.
I hope some people try again an improvement or masters as Michel or Joost look over the stuff.

Feel free to call me Gustav.
The program Gustav is named after my friend Gustav Ginzel. I met him first time in 1985 in his famous dung house.

I checked all 193 problems of the award, there were some misprints and even cooked problems.

Printing errors:

QSQ, 2nd place .... Three black knights are on board. Replace Sg8 by a black bishop.
BRS, 3rd place ..... Black pawn b6 has to be on b5.
BSR, 3rd place ..... Black pawn c6 has to be at c7.
QRS, 3rd place ..... Black bishop c4 is missing.
RRB, 3rd place .... 17 black pieces are on board. Black pawn b6 has to be removed.

Cooked problems:

QSR, 2nd place .... 1. Bh2 2. Kb1 3. Kxa2 4. b4 5. Bxg3 6. Bxe5 7. f4 8. b5 9. bxc6 10. Bxg7 11. Sxb8 12. cxb7 13. bxa8=B 14. Be5 15. Bxd6 16. Bxc7 17. Bxg2=

RSB, 3rd place .... Three black bishops are on board. Black queen h6 does not help, only 15 moves are needed:
.............................. 1. Qxg1 2. Qxh2 3. Qxh6 4. Qg5 5. d4 6. dxc5 7. cxd6 8. dxe7 9. exd8=Q 10. Qxg8 11. Qxf7 12. Qxf5 13. Bxb6 14. Bc7 15. Qxc8=

SBB, 3rd place .... Dual: 5. h8=B 6. Bg7 7. Bxh6 8. Bxf8 9. Bxa3 10. b4 11. b5 12. bxa6 13. axb7 14. bxc8=B 15. Bxe6 16. Bxg8 17. Be6=
............................. The problem is correct when we move Pe6 to e5.

I don't understand the correction.
Arno's problem was shown in the award with 15 pieces.
Now two pawns vanished, but it was after the dead line.

No, the problem was not changed after the dead line!

I downloaded all the problems a few days before the dead line and they all had the mark C+, so that if one of the problems changes, the computer will mark it with C?.
I later downloaded the inputs that were added or changed in the last few days.
I overlooked that mpid:523 was changed. Arno brought this to my attention yesterday.
No one could change the problem after the dead line.
So that's my oversight.
