NOTE: Cook found by Olaf (182)

cooked in 9
1. Sh6 2. g6 3. Bg7 4. c5 5. Qxb6 6. Qb3 7. Kd8 8. Re8 9. a5 ... Bxa5+ Rxa5#

I hope that this shortened version is correct:
(= 5+16 )

ser-hs#12 (C-)

Solution: 1.d5 2.Bxe6 3.Bf5 4.e6 5.Bc5 6.-11.Ka3 12.Bb4 Rc3+ Bxc3#

Cooked by Arno (184)

@Miodrag: Would be good to have the intended solution- that makes it easier to cook…
With 12 moves I saw from the diagram 2.c4 3. d5 4.Bxe6 5.Bf5 6.e6 7.Ke7 11.Ka3 12.Bb4 and 1.Rc3+ Bxc3#

@(184) Edited my previous post and added solution. Going forward I'll always publish solution. I'll add solutions for other problems too.

(= 6+16 )

ser-sh#12 (C-)

1.d5 2.Bxe6 3.Bf5 4.e6 5.Bc5 6.-11.Ka3 12.Bb4 Rc3+ Bxc3#

or

(= 7+16 )

ser-sh#14 (C-)

1.d5 2.Bxe6 3.Bf5 4.e6 5.Bxc5 6.-9.Kb5 10.Bxa3 11.-12.Kb3 13.Bb4 14.Ka3 Rc3+ 15.Bxc3#

(186) If I right saw, cook in ser hs#14-
...5.cxb6 6-9.Kd7-c6-b5-a4 10.Kxa3 12.a4 13.Bxc5 14.Bb4: Rc3+,Bxc3#
PS:
In fact, it is cooked in 13:
5.axb6/ 11.Ra4 /13.Bb4...

Still cooked:
1.d6 2.dxe5 3.Bxe6 4.Bc4 5.e6 6.Ke7 7.Kd6 8.Kc5 9.Kb4 10.Ka3 11.Bb4 12.Bd3 and Rc3+ Bxc3#

Version of (186) ser hs#12?
(= 6+16 )

cooked
(PS- I dont know, is need Pc6 maybe...)

Another try for ser hs#12 (after MM, post 186)
(= 8+16 )

Cooked
(authors solution was 1.d5 2.Bxe6 3.Bf5 4.e6 5.Bc5 6.Ke7 7.Kd6 8.Kc6 9.Kb5 10.Lxa3 11.Kb4 12.Kb3 - Rb2+,Bxb2#)
(unfortunatelly in setting with +pb4 happened duals (5.c5 etc.), because ser hs#13 is incorrect)

Just curious. How Ser-hs# is different from Ser-S#?

ser-hs#n: Black plays n moves, white plays 1 move, black mates
ser-s#n: White plays n moves, black mates

Sorry. I assumed that since white starts hs#, white alone has to play in ser-hs# also

(= 15+16 )

ser-hs=13 (C?) starter

1.hxg6 2.Rxh3 3.Rxh2 4.Rxg2 5.Rxg4 6.Rxf4 7.Rxf2 8.Rxe2 9.Rxe3
10.Rxd3 11.Rxc3 12.Rxb3 13.Rxb2 Sxg7+ 14.Bxg7=

In that case maybe this is a second try - two moves more…

(= 16+16 )

Ser-hs=15

1.a5 2.Ra6 3.Rxh6 4.Rxh3 5.Rxh2 6.Rxg2 7.Rxg4 8.Rxf4 9.Rxf2 10.Rxe2 11.Rxe3 12.Rxd3 13.Rxc3 14.Rxb3 15.Rxb2
and Sxg7+ Bxg7=

Could even be a Ser-hs=16 with wQh5 instead of h6!

(= 16+16 )

ser-hs=18

1.Sc6 2.Sxa5 3.Sc4 4.a5 5-6.Rxd6 7.Rxd4 8.Rxh4
9.Rxh2 10.Rxg2 11.Rxg5 12.Rxf5 13.Rxf2 14.Rxe2
15.Rxc2 16.Rxc3 17.Rxb3 18.Rxb2 exf7+ 19.Kxf7=

Qh3 --> ser-hs=19

Small question - why not also 18.e:d7+ K,Q,B:d7= ?
