John Rice, Editor of 'The Problemist' quoting Selivanov's extraordinary selfmate prizewinner comments in the latest issue: "Quite apart from the extraordinary double AUW, the fact that defences by specific black units lead to promotions to the same white units is a memorable feature of an absolutely top-class problem"

Selivanovs problem is really great, congratulations. But I also like the third place - one of the best pendel-logic problems ever, I think.

I also congratulate Selivanov for his fantastic and very difficult task selfmate in this tourney!

Diyan, you are a great sportsman to congratulate the winner, being on 2nd. Congratulations to you as well!

Actually the ranking is not so important in this case. The Selivanov's problem is real masterpiece and gave me pleasant feelings until watching it, so really hope that we will see more new selfmates with quality like that.
