The updated version of the Index of FIDE-Albums is now available at www.tehtavaniekat.fi/wp-content/uploads/books/FIDE_Album_Index_2022.pdf. The pdf-file has 226 pages and contains the listing of the compositions of more than 2200 authors in all 25 Albums, including the new FIDE Album 2016-2018. The total number of compositions is 27778.

Maybe some explain-a-bot section for the utterly stupid is in order :-)
- I actually had to look it up that "const" means "construction problem". Shame on me.
(Automatically associated "constant")
- I assume the two numbers behind the composer name mean awarded points/problem points
since joint problems split points evenly?
- Awarded points are printed in the Albums only since...too lazy to check...Right?
(So that must have been scraped from dusted protocols.)
- Has the minimum-point-to-get-in threshold ever changed, and regardless of that,
since 0 point problems are explicitely mentioned, how did below-par problems get in
anyway? Is there an official way (involving sacrificing your firstborn to Satan
or whatnot :-) ?
Anyway: I had a German index-gasm :-)

name / number of entries / total points
and for each composition:

The 0-point entries on the last page all seem to be double FIDE album publications, apparently you can only get points once for a composition (although I know of at least one case where both the original and a version were in the same FIDE album, so the author got 1.5 points for what's basically the same composition)
Concerning sub-par compositions, every judge has different tastes. What you consider sub-par is brilliant in another person's eye. For me, all #2 are boring and pointless for instance :).

Concerning the 2nd table (p.4) it makes sense to calculate separately the relative proportions for the genres. Here are data for the last two Albums in comparison with the total ones:
