I've written kind of manual in English and Russian about "My Problems" part.
If anyone is interested in - http://juliasfairies.com/software/ankona/ (in English).
Я написала что-то вроде руководства по разделу "My Problems"(мои задачи).
Если кому-то интересно - http://juliasfairies.com/ru/software/ankona/ (на русском).

Nice... There is no number for me :D
I didn't get something like "h GL4N"
So, I am not related to chess composition ;))

P.S. Looks like Jurij Gordian, Zvonimir Hernitz and many others are missing too.

Why didn't you use "Chess composers' names in warious alphabets"?

Aphabetic order is not perfect. HE6Z=Z.Hernitz, HE2A=A.Hernitz, GO7J=J.Gordian. Someone else must enter your name, if you're too busy to do it yourself. Who is payed for such job?:))

:)) Thanks Nikola!
Probably the best way is to import names from "Chess Composers' names in Warious Alphabets" by Thomas Maeder and Chess Coomposition Wiki Group (more than 20 composers worked on it). Dmitri Turevski also connected his "Yet Another Chessproblem Database" and it works :D

As I understand, we have a little difference here between a list of composers in databases like WinChloe and the list of authors in Ankona.
1) In Ankona the list of authors is really the list of registered users who can be the authors at the same time. But the users are those, who can use Ankona for composing or(and) solving. Not only the composers. Each of us can add there not only his problems, but also anyone's also.
2) In Ankona database each of us can see only his own added problems - composed or just added other authors' problems. It is not a public database which shows for everyboby already published problems. Noone adds the problems of other authors there for making them public. Only the composers themselves, who has their problems at Ankona, can make them publicly visible. So, maybe it's not that important to have the whole list of composers there including those, who doesn't have any problems at Ankona.
3) Don't wonder if one author is added, not being registered, but others are not in the list. If someone is added without being registered at Ankona - it means that someone also has entered his problem(s) for some reason. If you add any problem in Ankona - you have to fill in the Author field. If you enter the author, who is not in the list - the author will be created automatically. F.i., I've entered many authors myself when solving problems. In that case had used Ankona to keep the problems for solving and also as a chessboard to try the solutions(to make moves).
4) I understand, that here we might have some problems with spelling names. Some authors may not like how their names are entered. This is mostly in the cases if the names are written differently in different sources, and those who add the author uses the source which writes your name not like you'd prefer it to be. I think it would be a bit complicated for the administrator of Ankona to control all these things. So, I believe that in such cases the only way is to write to Iļja Ketris who works under the project, and to ask him for name's correction...
I'd advice for everyone interested in a project - to write the comments or suggestions in the issue tracking system on GitHub: https://github.com/wfcc/ankona/issues?sort=created&direction=desc&state=open
..... This is what I know or believe for now (as experienced user of it :) ). /julia.

When I tried to register, it told me my email address had already been taken. How is that possible?

If you've never tried to register - it shouldn't be like that.. I doubt that anyone has used your email address to register. Although, technically it is possible. Please write about this issue to Iļja - ankona@vo.id.lv -
he answers mails very quickly. I believe, it can be solved very fast.

Few days ago I tried to register myself but my email address was also "already taken". Then I wrote the other (gmail) address which I rarely use and with a new password my registration was accepted. As I can recall, I had visited the site many month ago(?) and probaly tried to register then, I can't recall the details but I would swear that it was before May 8,2012, when the site was announced in this thread. So much about my feeling of the pace of time.

The site was announced @MatPlus in May, but it exists a long time.. I've started to use it in March,2011, when it was at http://dia-x.info/
There're many changes and new things added since that time. Like fairy pieces were added only in the autumn of 2011. And finally the site has moved to ankona.ch address. But the database of users and databases of their problems were safely moved together with the program. So, your old registration should be up and running! :)
Btw, you can use option "Forgot your password?" for Login. In that case you give your email address (which is already in use! as system says) and will get the instructions how to change your password.
