as-Suli's diamond
Is this as-Suli's diamond?
(= 2+2 )
Unknown author, around 10th century
and are firzan (move one square diagonally)
White to move and win
The description would fit partially. It was published by Abu Bakr Muhammad ben Yahya as-Suli and it was solved by Yuri Averbakh more than a thousand years later. However, as-Suli wrote that he didn't compose it (but deeply analysed it and gave only the first move of the solution which for Yuri Averbakh was the proof that as-Suli completely solved the position).
