Theme: Orthodox selfmates (s#2-n), showing a combination of black correction and defensive motif characteristic of Schiffmann defence or Nietvelt defence. After a random move by a black piece, White continues with a particular move. In the secondary defence, the black piece pins itself, so that White cannot continue with the same move, because it would unpin the black piece. (Note: in longer selfmates, thematic effects may occur at any move.)

The tourney is open for congress participants. Maximum three compositions per author, including joint works, are allowed.
