The Champagne announcement should also soon be available in various places.
The theme this year (in honour of Nikita Plaksin for his 90th birthday) : the same piece captures at least two promoted pieces. |

@Eric Huber.
I read TWO entries maximum per composer. Am I wrong? |

is it allowed a thematic piece to be captured after its move? |
|

Rule of thumb: If it's not disallowed in the rules, it's allowed. |
|

I know this rule.
Just wanna to find out the judge's attitude to disappearance of thematic units in the final positions. |

"Is it allowed" and "what's the attitude" are two different things. A judge can dislike something that's allowed. |

I agree. But asking about the attitude is inappropriate, I think.
The judge can give an extended clarification on "allow/disallow" - this is what I expected... |

QUOTE is it allowed a thematic piece to be captured after its move?
The thematic piece is captured after its move in BOTH examples of the announcement. Just how devious do you think we are? No, don't tell me.
QUOTE But asking about the attitude is inappropriate, I think.
Very nice of you to think that way.
Before you ask, let me add something.
Both examples show Pelle moves by White. Of course, Pelle moves by Black are also welcome. |
