The Slowakian Caterpillar I *finally* came to browse through my FIDE albums (some already
10 years old)...and to my dismay, the Very Hungry Caterpillar
ate a hole in 2007-2009 p. 65/66. Luckily, an index page with lot
of whitespace and except an <CHOMP!>ondary Fleck nothing was lost :-)
- Have you encountered similar?
- Anything I can do?
- Anything I *should* bother to do, given that I look into a FIDE album
about twice in a lifetime? (If that rogue "rups" had touched
my Morse instead, I had nuked it from orbit :-) |

My copy is fine in this respect. Try to write to Peter Gvozdjak. Or rather I think he reads the board quite regularly... so you will see. |

A digital version of the albums would help to avoid such things. But how to/who will bell this cat? |

hauke,
just look there once again - there must be the "wormohles" fairy condition.
or if you wish, write me your shipping address to peter.gvozdjak@gmail.com, and i will replace you the damaged copy.

@Peter - thanks for the offer, but I'm not even sure whether
I bought the pack-of-three directly from you.
(Also, the hole is around 10*5 mm - surely this can be patched
by simply glueing in a piece of paper - anyone having experience
with book restauration here?) |
