London Chess Classic 2016 The live coverage is one of the best I've seen. Don't miss today's Caruana - Nakamura, with positional sacrifice of WQ for pair of Nights.

Amazing sacrifice. Can Caruana survive? Black is apparently safe.... Added later: well. 29.Rg1 looks very strong. and Hikaru seems losing. |

Wijk and London have never disappointed me, but this is beyond all expectations!!
The whole atmosphere in and around the tournament "smells" like a good old chess.
Caruana "I’d analysed this and the computer doesn’t show 21.Nf5. The problem is that the computer doesn’t understand that after 21.Nf5 Bxf5 Black is pretty much just lost. It’s one of the saddest positions I’ve ever seen for Black."
Chess will forever remain a game made for man. |

So is the Najdorf busted?
It's certainly been taking a hammering in the last couple of rounds. |

Bah. I can't count all the knight sacs on b5,d5 and f5
I've got served in the Najdorf and still play it :-)
