PDB query In searching through the PDB, how does one filter out all fairy conditions and fairy units? |

All fairy compositions should have the keyword 'Fairy', so "AND NOT K='Fairy'" after your query should do the trick. |

Thanks, Joost. Sadly your suggestion does not work. I typed in "STIP='ser' AND K='Valladao' AND NOT K='Fairy'" and 74 problems were listed - many of which had Fairy conditions and/or Fairy pieces. |

For anything else than series movers, "AND NOT G='Fairies'" seems to work. But unfortunately, series movers are mostly classified as fairies in PDB..... |

Here one can find all search expressions in PDB http://pdb.dieschwalbe.de/article.jsp?idx=3
Fairy pieces may be specified in search query, for instance PIECE='Taxi' |

The keywords/genre assignments in PDB are not perfect. That's part of PDB's charm - it is a communally curated entity. Normally when I am browsing PDB I will correct errors as I come across them. Missing Fairy genre is very common. So get yourself a curator account, and join in the fun. :-) |
