English-language articles on the Logical School? Hello!
Does anyone happen to know of any in-depth articles and/or books on the Logical School of chess problems that are written in English?
Thanks,
Jeffrey |

There was a project to translate the masterpiece "Das Indische Problem" into English. Unfortunately, I think this never happened.
I have translated a few short Speckmann articles into English a year ago for private use, but I probably am not at liberty to disclose them, so you would need to contact Gary Kevin Ware directly about it. I had done those to repay a favor he did me. |

@Jeffrey. I'd recommend John Rice's "Chess Wizardry" or "The Encyclopedia of Chess Problems" advertised on this site! Both have plenty of entries and examples of logical problems. |

There was a nice article by H.P.Rehm on 'THE LEPUSCHÜTZ THEME' in the DL Archives (Other archives) of Matplus. I am unable to locate it now. If you contact me I can send you a copy I had downloaded earlier. |

There's an interesting essay in the Christmas book Antiform, downloadable from Mr.Kotesovec's website.

Thanks for the pointers! I already own copies of both Chess Wizardry and the new (fantastic!) Encyclopedia of Chess Problems, actually :)
Antiform looks interesting; I wish the problems were interspersed with the text though. |

Not an in-depth article, but perhaps nevertheless interesting:
