Question about an SPG position I couldn't find this position in pdb.dieschwalbe but thought it would be there and was wondering if I searched correctly. I also wonder if it might not appear because the SPG is not unique. I know the solution but not the name of the composer.
(= 15+15 ) PG in 22.0 |

If you know the solution, try SOL='1. foo bar...' (the blank after
the numbers is essential). K='Proof Game' hardly gets anything.
G='Retro' gets too much. |

It's not in PDB either as unique or non-unique PG nor in WinChloe as unique PG. (I don't know how to query for a non-unique PG in WinChloe.)
my pdb query was (k='unique p' or k='non') and wpieces=15 and bpieces=15 and stip='22'.
Hauke's search for k='proof game' picks up a prefix for 'Proof Game as Series Helpmate' - this was a one-off task with about 30 entries. Maybe the keyword should be renamed to avoid confusion. |

you may also search for the position or a significant part of it like: Position='wLa8 sLb8 sKd8' |

Thanks for the suggestions. In Schwalbe, [wpieces=15 and bpieces=15 and stip='22,0'] returns five proof game problems, none of them much like this one.
Just curious, has anyone tried solving this one? |
