Position was already difficult but that one was certainly a terrible blunder. |

Hmmm, we should have a special OTB tournament for problemists.
Preferrably 20 years ago when I still could play :-)

We had a short blitz tournament prior to the German Championship this year with the participants being partly problemists and partly OTB players from my chess club. The problemists were able to compete but as Arno, Boris, Hauke and some other presumably strong OTB players did not participate the winner was one of the OTB players with Dolf and me coming in second.
Eberhard Schulze was on first place when he had to quit the tournament after three rounds to preserve his health. |
