(= 10+10 ) #2
I can only say, a masterpiece! | | (2) Posted by Eugene Rosner [Sunday, Feb 16, 2014 21:25] | yep. two double pin mates, self-pinning, complete halfpin, two more pinmates and a 5th pinmate with the key granting a crosscheck. CLASSIC! | | (3) Posted by Jacques Rotenberg [Monday, Feb 17, 2014 12:04] | Well Darko,
First of all, thank you very much for showing us a problem !
My personal taste goes more to problems than to (long) abstract debates.
This 2# is very nice indeed, but a few words to underline your choice also would be wellcome. | | (4) Posted by Darko Šaljić [Monday, Feb 17, 2014 13:21]; edited by Darko Šaljić [14-02-17] | Yes Jacques, that's exactly why I decided to communicate only through diagrams.
But you're right, few words can do no harm.
In addition to this Eugene have already said, there are several things to add:
shut-off mates, a wonderful correction play by BB (who have a lot of freedom and apparently easy task - just to go away!),
wonderful key that allows check and target squares b6&f6...
But, most important and very rare for one phase problem(especially in 1921!)is very complex, clear and compact mechanism.
What I want to say is that we can see several systems (half-pin, two white batteries with two black BR..)not artificially connected,
but thay are all parts of one beutifull, impartible unity. | | No more posts |
