When did Dr. J. Glaser (??? - 1965 or 1966) live?

Sorry, just another one of these biographical research questions.

Dr. J. Glaser begun with chess composition when he died in a road accident when returning of Bognor Memorial Tournament (probably an OTB tourney formerly known as Stevenson Memorial Tournament which would date it to 1966, since Stevenson Memorial Tournament was held up to 1965). He was member of the Chess Endgame Study Circle (founded 19.iii.1965) and the obituary was printed in July 1966 issue of EG (EG 5, p.105). His wife also was killed but his children survived.

Maybe somebody knows about Dr. Glaser's data or at least can determine the date of death from the information given.

Thanks in advance,
Siegfried

His obituary in the British Chess Magazine says that he was killed on 22nd April 1966. His wife was also killed, his father severely injured and his two youngest children escaped with bruises. His eldest son, who was also competing at Bognor, travelled home next day.

No date of birth or age is given. He was born in Czechoslovakia, escaped from his native country during World War 2, and after a thousand mile trip ended up serving with the British forces in India. As a player he was Northumberland County Champion three years running, was an organiser of the Northumberland Congress, and was the driving force behind the establishment of a chess centre in Newcastle.

The Bognor Regis Congress (otherwise known as the Butlin Open Chess Championships, since it was held at one of Billy Butlin's Holiday Camps) ran from 13th - 23rd April. Glaser scored 3.5/11 in the main event. I notice that the Boy's under-12 championship was won by the current World Solving Champion.
