Macleod "Mat" 1985 - still a 'Vlad' !?

In a search of problems containing the "Vladimirov Theme" (cf. http://www.milanvel.net/mp/snapshot/rescbody.php?px=1238581016&fid=gen&tid=88 ) following appeared - I'm recognizing two V.-variations ( Nd4/Nd6 ) plus a "pseudo" (or NON- as you like) variation Nc7 - A changed mate, not related to the Vladimirov idea, brings a fourth variation - The artistry in presentation makes on almost forget (or forgive !?) the random battery opening as threat...

Well, the paradox can be recognized in the Tries 1.Nd6 and 1.Nd4, and - moreover - in a 'pure' form (no mutual captures, no different squares before and after the key)

But, of course, as the actual threat after the key (the random N move) includes both Tries (plus a third "pseudo"-V try 1.Nc7); the Problem is, so to say, "beside the point" as a thematical exposition
