Equal Last Move?
Rex Multiplex

Of course it's possible to show this with less pieces (I got 4 with wKa8 Rb2 Bb1 bKa1, and Rex Multiplex)

I do not understand the stipulation. What exactly means "Equal Last Move?"? I know "Last move?", but this seems to be something different.

Equal last move means there's only one (determinable) same kind of movement for both sides.

Look here:
wKf1 Pg3, bKh1 Ph2
Equal Last Move?

Since black couldn't have moved his king, his last move is a pawn move. Now since black moved a pawn, white also moved a pawn and the equal last move is P- (single step by a pawn)

Sometimes there is some retroanalytical content, but often it's just the last move of one of the sides.

You can find a complete list at http://www.pairlist.net/pipermail/retros/2007-June/002026.html (but from June 2007). Maybe looking through some problems will help understanding the stipulation.

PS (also as a reply to below): The stipulation is fairly new, I think. It may have come up in 2006. I also can't establish the fairy/fairly joke I wanted to in the last sentence...

All right then, it seems my knowledge is a bit outdated now, I should update it as soon as possible, then the solution seems to be clear given that there is only one possible black last move.
