Why you should stop discussion of PCCC/FIDE thread

Else Milan must print the Autumn issue with Spring and Summer issue, too, to get the discussion inside. :-)

Just kidding.

:-)

There is one serious reason too, though. The accusations and callings of (inappropriate) names are multiplying, so cooling heads down here would be useful. I read English, French, Russian (although not Japanese or Chinese) and frankly, I do not see much of the constructive content in what I read there.

You want a constructive solution? Wait until the PCCC meeting next week is done, that's the only one I can offer.

But since this should be another funny thread, here's another language:

This is the internet at best. To find a shred of useful information, one have to walk through tones of garbage. There are quite a few useful posts as well. I believe Georgy's analysis(on page 5) is precise as usual and the danger of a break-up is real.

Name calling is unfortunate but even it shows something useful: there are quite a few people who are not happy with PCCC and who's voices are not heard. Our little community is more polarized than anyone could think. Hard work would be necessary to find the common ground.

Take a time out! :-)
Here is nice direct twomover by Mirko Cro-Cop Filipović, a famous hobby solver who solves chessproblems in the plain, between the fights. So, here is his direct twomover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZYyyo_1pq4&NR=1 :))

@Dejan

Is Mirko for PCCC or FIDE :)? He would be serious threat to any organization against him :)! How did you count twomover? It looked to me that it was checkmate in one move by his leg.

Hey Miodrag, you saw only mating move. You have to see the key! The key is usualy a hidden move, it has threat, without a strike. :-)
Would you like to see another miniature from our problem solver? :) Or some of his seriesmovers? :))
He was realy solving direct chessproblems in the plain, before his matches, not only "solving problems" in the ring. :)
P.S. I don't know is he for PCCC or for FIDE, but we shall ask him about that, as soon as he pay us a membership fee! :))

On a half-OT(aku) sidenote:
I see a mating idea every day since I have it as desktop background.

Nice. You are very young and not married. That's because you always see 'mating idea'. It is nature.

Siegfried, you should be ashamed. No, not of your
dirty thoughts but that the same pun was already
used even in "One Night in Bangkok" :P

Or maybe it's because I always spend my wedding nights on the chessboard. Too bad she asks after a while if I like chess more than her and can't stand the truth...
