Guy Haworth warns about the usual occasional Nigeria Connection fraud

I received the following e-mail by Guy Haworth. It seems to be trustworthy (all recipients were chess composers and it seems to be from his e-mail address).

 QUOTE
I received a junk email from a 'Marcy Johnson', purporting to be in
Liberia.

This is the old 'money for nothing' scam, originally deployed from
Nigeria. I am still amazed that some people lost significant amounts of
money on this.

The email list looks like one used by John Roycroft once: it looks
'chess endgame study-ish'.

Whatever you do, do not reply to 'marcy johnson'

Best regards to all - Guy

In fact, those Nigerians are terrorists (according to german law, at least, not to the common use of the word) as can be read here: http://www.snopes.com/crime/fraud/nigeria.asp

PS: Haworth confirmed he's genuine.
