Secure Proxys

Anyone knows secure proxys that don't save data? Our government decided to destroy freedom of speech by deciding a new law to save connection data (see http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vorratsdatenspeicherung). Or, alternatively, anyone knows a nation where I could go that has no laws on data retention?

PS: Of course. my address is publically known, but I don't feel good not being able to talk freely and anonymously wherever I want. I still remember the german history and when something like this was in effect the last time to know why I don't feel safe.

Thanks. I use TOR anyway but it's slow... :-)

Is there something like "zombie computers" that can be legally used?

TOR may provide anonymity, but only as long as you
don't give away who you are yourself: it doesn't provide
encryption. Anyone at the exit node can read your
traffic if you don't encrypt it yourself.

Ok, that's good to know. How do I encrypt myself?

Use a good encryption program, like PGP, for example.
That is, whatever, you send into the TOR network should
already be encrypted, and only the recipient should be
able to decrypt it.

PGP is perhaps a little on tricky side to use: I'm afraid
I don't know of any easier solutions that are equally secure.

Or use an encryption protocol like SSH, inside of which you send
your traffic (like HTTPS encrypts HTTP for web traffic)

It's not the traffic! It's to let them not know at all what I'm doing, e.g., to which IP adresses or websites I'm connecting.
