Difference between "line opening", "line clearance", ...?

What is the difference between terms "line opening", "line clearance", "line vacation", and "line voidance", when using them for helpmates? How to translate them into other languages (German, Russian)?

In German, "Linienöffnung" and "Linienräumung" are usual.
I think the second means a critical move *on* the line,
whereas the first is a normal move away from the line.
Then you have the possibility of line clearance by annihilation
(think Kamikaze or Atom Chess), but I don't know a special German
word for this.

So, Linienöffnung = line opening; Linienräumung = line voidance? Additionally, I know that Bahnung = line clearance.

I want to systematize all such terms. One more similar term is "gate opening", but its meaning is clear. I think "gate opening" is some sort of "line opening". Relation between other terms is not clear. There is the following definition in Wikipedia (Glossary of chess problems):

Clearance:
In general, the movement of one piece so that another can move to a particular square. In square vacation the first piece moves so that the second can occupy the square where it stood. In *line vacation* the first piece moves so that the second can pass over the square on which is stood on the way to its destination; *line clearance*, also known as the Bristol, is a particular type of line vacation in which a piece moves along a line so that another piece can move a shorter distance behind it along the same line.

By this definition, line clearance is a particular type of line vacation. But it is unclear difference between "line opening" and "line vacation". Definition of "line opening" is provided neither in Wikipedia, nor in the Encyclopedia by Velimirovich.

The way I'm using the term "gate-opening" in helpmates: a unit moves off a line and another unit moves along the line passing over the square that the first unit was standing.
