In that issue, which I received by email about two weeks ago, it is noted with a photo that Michal Dragoun:

"stellt eine Aufgabe aus dem Jubiläumsturnier Vladislav-Bunka-75 auf, dessen Preisbericht gerade eingetroffen war"

I haven't seen that award and even wrote the tourney director to enquire, with no answer.

I have only heard that the award should be in Sachova Skladba which is edited by Dragoun.
The last issue was in July but it seems as if the award was not in it although I am not sure about that.

Thanks Michal for your answer!

Do we get a copy? To me it would be completely sufficient to receive it via mail in pdf format.

All authors will receive whole issue (subscribers, authors of originals) or printed copy of the award.

Thanks Michal, I received my copy today. The award was the way I feared it would be ;)

When I saw that there is a tourney dedicated to s#5-6 I was quite enthusiastic. I hoped to see pieces of the Gamnitzer-kind, strategic masterpieces or logical foreplans etc. but after I submitted my entry I have seen some tourneys judged by Mr. Bunka and was about to withdraw my selfmate because his taste seems too far away from mine as he seems to prefer zugzwang-pieces. And in fact the selfmates with thread play were only among the commendations (like mine, too, no need to say that it wasn't a masterpiece). I think that selfmates only showing zugzwang and check-play, often even without selfmate specific content and poor black play, have to show a lot of thematic content to deserve getting a distinction. The first three prices are of that kind and show more or less chameleon echoes.
