The “double Max” condition can produce mechanical problems. In this case, only 8 moves out of 39 are forced and the content is attractive. Four phoenix of which three are sacrificed, then mate by the Q-phoenix, and this it is only one of the characteristics of this symphony! The most beautiful story of this selection!

It is not so much the length which impresses here, but rather the incredible fact that this terrifying “massacre” is the only possible solution. what is worth the Price is the beauty of the Royal march, its twisted course being justified by the condition.

A specific AUW, model mates, and reciprocal captures. Another rich problem.

Switchbacks, surprising model mates with echoed double checks and castles. So, a rich content, paid by many black units.

The Lortap-Provocateurs mix is redoubtable. Both solutions show precise routes of the BK.

This award seems to be less interesting than politics

It IS interesting, but what would be there to discuss about? The Babson isn't regarded a "real" Babson by me but rather a "normal" mutual AUW since I'd expect all Babson variations to be in a single position.
