Most mates by a promoted queen in a #2?
I know that every piece has had its maximum amount of mates shown, aka Q12, R14, B13, S8, P6, & K6. But what of a promoted queen? The interest lay in that since the key move must be a promotion, the new queen is right away restricted in its range. Discovered checks aren't allowed, namely because Petrovic's #2 does it.
I've managed 8 different mates using zugzwang.

P.S. 9*#, but a 10th unthematic after Qe5. You can insist on
no "additional" mates, in which case this attempt doesn't count.
P.P.S. No finds in the Albrecht up to now.

Good job Hauke. I knew you had it in you to overtake mine. :) Your QvQ dual adds extra thematic content.
And extra mates are perfectly fine. As long there are no mating duals by the queen! (Of which you have none.)

Well, I think you can manage 10 (11 are possible by the matrix) if you study all the tricks of the classic Queen cross (~80 problems in the Albrecht). I'm a bit too lazy now :-) (At the moment the [electronic] annual general meeting of the Hamburg Sport Foundation runs, and surely goes another two boring^W highly fascinating hours, so maybe I multitask a bit :-)
EDIT:
Clearly, a lighter piece can only have 2 mates, if no batteries are allowed. Thus I did also B and S...at the same time (2 solutions :-)
