Alois Nagler Memorial Tourney
The Zürich based daily newspaper Tages-Anzeiger organizes a composition tourney in the memory of Alois Nagler (8.12.1907-30.5.1996). The tourney has two sections: #2 and #3; only problems with at most 17 pieces are allowed.
The judges are Wolfgang Berg (#2) und Udo Degener (#3).
Prize fund: 4000 Swiss francs (~ € 2'500); 12 problems of each category will be awarded a share of this amount.
Entries are to be sent to the tourney director Beat Züger, Bitzistrasse 13, CH-8854 Siebnen (Tel: +41 55 440 30 14, E-Mail: bzueger@bluewin.ch) no later than 1st October 2007.
The award will appear in the Tages-Anzeiger on 8th December 2007 (Alois Nagler's 100th birthday).
