Step by step, people like you have turned the Chessbase website into a problem-friendly place in the OTB world. This is the best answer to the frequently raised question - how to attract new generation of chess composers. | | (3) Posted by Yochanan Afek [Thursday, Oct 2, 2014 01:10] | Thank you Marjan for your kind words. Chessbase.com is a leading and influential website indeed, however the internet provides innumerable opportunities and a huge potential for a genuine breakthrough. | | (4) Posted by Sarah Hornecker [Sunday, Oct 19, 2014 17:39] | And the last part is published. Thanks, Yochanan!

got bored because everybody behaved (which is usually the
case in the lower leagues :-), and found some old "New in Chess"
issues to help me over the lousy play :-)
In one was the report of the tourney that Steffen Slumstrup won
(Pf7 Pg7 - Bf8 Bg8). Of course I saw the report already as PDF
posted here, but I never bothered much. On dead trees, though, it
enticed me to study the variants in detail.
There is a moral to this story, folks, and it's NOT "Kindle". :-)
