Dear chess friends,

The next zoom call will be on Saturday 5 August.

It’s a very informal affair, but there is substantial composing and solving skill amongst the ranks.

The call opens at noon GMT, which equates at the moment I believe to 9pm Japan, 8pm Singapore/Hong Kong, 5.30 India, 2pm in continental Europe, 1pm UK, 9am East Coast USA/Canada, 7am Peru. Please check your local time to avoid disappointment.

The meeting lasts for typically 3-4 hours, but people come and go as they choose.
If you have a friend who wants to join, please contact me (@Laska) and I will send them an invite.

As usual please bring problems for general solving, topics for discussion, jokes etc. Problems discussed in such a private call are not considered to have been published, so this can be a good opportunity to try stuff out.

Love to all,
Andrew

Dear chess friends,

The next zoom call will be on Saturday 7 October.

It’s a very informal affair, but there is substantial composing and solving skill amongst the ranks.

Please check your local time to avoid disappointment. I think no countries have ended daylight saving time yet, but the following month Europe (but not USA) will have.

The meeting lasts for typically 3 hours, but people come and go as they choose. If you have a friend who wants to join, please contact me and I will send them an invite.

As usual please bring problems for general solving, topics for discussion, jokes etc. Problems discussed in such a private call are not considered to have been published, so this can be a good opportunity to try stuff out.

Dear chess friends,

Generally we are having a lull in the monthly zoom calls right now.

HOWEVER, on Sat 16 Dec there will be a special zoom occasion where we solve 16 joke problems supplied by members of the Discord forum.

Time is noon GMT, which equates at the moment I believe to 9pm Japan, 8pm Singapore/Hong Kong, 5.30 India, 2pm in continental Europe, 1pm UK, 9am East Coast USA/Canada, 7am Peru/Costa Rica. Please check your local time to avoid disappointment.

The meeting lasts for typically 3 hours, but people come and go as they choose.
If you have a friend who wants to join, please contact me and I will send them an invite.

Problems discussed in such a private call are not considered to have been published.

Love to all,
Andrew
