Kiss theme Inspired by the suggestion of a new aim elsewhere, I'd like to find out who does know the following: who is the inventor of a Kiss theme, also known as a Kiss cycle? Check your sources and do not be surprised. |

It was named after I think the composer whose name is "Kiss" ... It was not Janos Kiss.. a different composer. |

A "kiss cycle"?! Sounds like "necking", according to my sources?!... |

Ivan Kiss (Slovakia).
Born: 12-31-1963
Titles: FIDE Master of Chess Composition, 1990.
You know this, Juraj... why do you ask?
In fact, I'm indebted to you for asking this question, because it revealed a small bug which crept into my personal database program. |

I can not remember when, but I think Lacny had one early work in pseudo form - different departure sqares of WQ? |

It is really Ivan Kiss, the prototype being this #2: http://jurajlorinc.com/chess/cychis04.htm#uloha4
I was asking because Encyclopedia of Chess Problems gives the same problem as example (well chosen, both prototype and nice), but with name Janos Kiss above the diagram. |

This is one of the major mistakes in the Encyclopedia made out of haste, a mistake that annoyed the late Milan a lot. |
