Japanese nuclear meltdown - status of problemists?

Can anyone tell us about Japanese problemists, with the meltdown in Japan?

- Kirill Kryukov is in good health, however he lives in the southern Japanese regions where earthquakes are probable to come soon.

EDIT, March 15 (around 2 AM German time):
- Ken Kousaka lives in Aomori and thus should be quite safe.
- Tadashi Wakashima lives in Kyōto and thus should be safe.
- Yuji Kikuta was last known to be in Frankfurt/Germany for work (2005) and thus should be safe.

- Hiroshi Manabe lives in Tokyo
- Satoshi Hashimoto lives in Tokyo
- Kohey Yamada lives in Tokyo

Tokyo might become affected by a nuclear cloud.

EDIT, March 16 (around 2 PM German time)
- Kryukov is trying to flee to Osaka, more information hopefully tomorrow.

EDIT, March 19 (around 8:40 PM German time)
- Kirill is definitely safe. Having still no info on Manabe, Hashimoto and Yamada. Going to mail Manabe.

The pictures we get to see on the TV and newpapers are horrifying - reminding me of our own tragedy in India (2004) in which I lost a good colleague and his family. My heartfelt condolences to the Japanese.
