Nonstandard boards
In my long (2#) composing experience I surely encountered
at least 5 instances of the 8*8 board being too small.
(Make that 6 - bishop unstalemating could be upped to
7 variants by using two Gamage interferences if only
the board is large enough.) A few questions:
- Which solving programs can handle such boards?
- Has there ever been a theme tourney for that?
- Any real good (say Album) problem you know?

WinChloe can handle larger boards also for solving.
I have searched the large WinChloe database for any problems being noted as competing in TT and on larger board. Besides problems from TTs I already knew (i.e. quite recent) there were a few TTs with multiple presence, worth of investigating:
= 120th TT Die Schwalbe 1956-1957
= 12th TT The Problemist 1930
21 problems with non-standard-sized chessboard (not only larger, but also smaller) are noted as being published in FIDE Albums. Of them perhaps the least fairy is #21 by Jan Mortensen, Feenschach 1964 (725 p.154, Album FIDE 1962-64)
