Minimal Material To Correctly Show A Theme In The #2

As per the title, here are a few examples.

#2
(= 4+1 )

#2
(= 4+2 )

#2
(= 5+1 )

What other themes have known minimal showings in the twomover?

Or am I misinterpreting your question?

Speckmanns 3+4 piecer book, theme register?! :-)
(Sorry, it's 22:22 and I'm straightly heading for bed.
No idea if it has a theme register at all...)

It's 23:00 (thank you very much, Malcom :-) and yes, "Kleinste Schachaufgaben"
DOES have a theme register. Not much 2# content though (did you know you
can do a Roman with 4 pieces?).

But that costed me ten seconds. A whopping 30 minutes (gasp!) went
into a starflight (even with 4 different mates) with 5 pieces:
(= 4+1 )

No hits on Albrecht or YACPDB.
EDIT: Improved, no taking of unthematic flights.
(= 4+1 )

SON OF EDIT: But there is a ton of 5 piece star flights on YACPDB. I still search
for the "perfect" rendering (no checking key, no promotion key, no duals, no fifth flight,
four different mates).

@Joost. That was the obvious one. A knight promotion one will take lot more black men, but can be W-minimal.

A lot? Hardly, 2+4 suffice :-) (Hint: YACPDB 327793, only without the joke)
B promotion: 3+2, didn't try minimal yet. (Edit: 2+16 without promoted
blacks, 21133 Albrecht, I now remember I saw it before)

Knight promotion can be done with 3+1 (by several authors in some form or another).
(= 3+1 )

#2

And as minimal you don't need that much material either.
(= 2+5 )

#2
[EDIT: See later in the thread, this can be done much more economical 2+3]

Bishop is also easy with 3+1 (also by several authors in some form or another, usually in some form of twin with the knight promotion)
(= 3+1 )

#2

Bishop minimal on the other hand is much harder, the Bo Lindgren composition that Hauke mentioned is actually the only minimal I could find.
(= 2+16 )

#2 (Bo Lindgren, Deutsche Schachzeitung 1977)

What is the issue with 2+3?

(= 2+3 )

Mate in 2

I think this was used many times in endgame studies (not in this exact setting, obviously).
Now in this setting I don't find a twin, but it should be possible to make a similar one with a twin, I think.

@Nikola, that is a nice one!
If a twin were possible in 2+3 setting that would be great too!

@Joost: It's "rec", not "id". Example (we missed the Q :-)

@Nikola Predrag
To compare to your version no.10 ShankarRam quotes his Madrasi #2. It has a similar setting but shows the Vladimirov theme in the tries and after one of the solutions!

Feenschach, 1983
(= 3+2 )

#2vvv Madrasi. Two solutions

Vladimirov can be done with 5 pieces either.
Extremely simple example: https://www.yacpdb.org/#146465

Reciprocal mate change with 6 pieces: https://www.yacpdb.org/#139357

A whopping 14 but extremely light for cyclic change: https://www.yacpdb.org/#31584
