According to the registration list, the Junior competition in Subotica will be official one, with 16 juniors from 9 countries.

There are more than 100 participants from 24 countries in the EPCF, and more than 100 applications for the Open solving tourney

Norms for all international solving titles will be available in both Open and ECSC. The list includes 10 GM solvers, and 13 IM solvers, but also 4 GM composers, 9 IM composers, 2 OTB GMs, and 3 OTB IMs.
(Up to the current list of ECSC participants, to gain the GMS norm in Subotica, the solver should be among the first 9, with a minimum rating performance of 2650)

May 7th,   21:00   The Captains Meeting
May 8th, 20:30 Mini-lectures by:
1. Uri Avner ("About Depth")
2. Michael McDowell ("Some problems by P.C.Thomson")
3. Živko Janevski ("Selfmates with cyclic white moves").
 21:00 According to the wish of participants, the announced 24 hours QCT will be turned into the 48 hours QCT. The judges are Uri Avner (#2) and Fadil Abdurahmanović (h#2). The dead-line: May 8th, 21h.
May 9th, 20:30 Solving Show. Qualification system: the best 5 from the Machine Gun competition, the best 5 from the Open, the best 5 from the 5th ECSC (or more in case that somebody abstained or qualified according to previous criteria) + 1 participant nominated by the organizers.

The director of the ECSC and the Open solving tourney is Pavel Kamenik from Czech Republic.

Milan Velimirović is the director of three competitions: Internet composing tourneys, Solving Show and Machine Gun (Quick Solving).
